Wearables & health sensing
Connected collars, smart footwear, rings, earbuds and gloves — taken from a proven platform to a product you own, with your data on your cloud.

Funded wearable teams arrive in Shenzhen with a strong product thesis and a weak supply chain. The common failure is building from scratch, or accepting a white-label device whose data only flows through the vendor's server. Battery life, sensor accuracy and certification are then discovered late.
- Dual-track vendor strategy: a white-label route that ships in weeks, and an owned-design route that protects firmware, hardware files and data.
- Hardware RFPs with the clauses that matter: data routable to your own cloud, firmware source and escrow, calibration files, full BOM with MPNs.
- Sensing architecture and evidence plans: what the signal represents, how it is validated against references, and when it becomes unreliable.
- Rev A boards, enclosure fit prototypes and battery packaging studies before tooling.
- Certification coordination (CE, FCC, SIRIM and others) and pilot-to-production supply.
What we write into the specification.
| Data ownership | All device data routable to a broker you control, outside the vendor's cloud |
| Firmware | Source code delivery or escrow written into the contract |
| Measurement claims | Every target marked as target until verified against a reference |
| Battery | Declared duty cycle; real protected-pack samples before layout freeze |
| Consumer categories (rings, earbuds) | Existing-platform customisation only — no ground-up builds |
Devices and parts we track for this practice
Should we white-label or build our own device?
Often both. A white-label device validates demand and the app in 4–8 weeks; a custom design runs in parallel for ownership and margin. The deciding clause is data: a device whose data only flows through the vendor's cloud is a device the vendor controls.
Do you take on smart rings and earbuds?
Yes, through the existing-platform route: we start from a factory's proven design and change what differentiates you. Ground-up consumer electronics for an early-stage team is the classic project that burns cash and never ships.
