Smart Glasses for Industrial AI Diagnostics

Binocular smart glasses for on-site industrial inspection with on-device defect classification.

Binocular optical see-through display with 1080p per eye, paired with a 13MP global-shutter camera and an on-device NPU running a quantised defect-classification model at 15 FPS. Designed for use in industrial environments where cloud connectivity is unreliable.

HOLON role: SoC selection (settled on a Rockchip RK3588 variant with an Ambarella co-processor evaluation in parallel), camera module sourcing through a tier-one Shenzhen ODM, mechanical and thermal review, and PCBA partner qualification. Currently in late EVT.

AI-Powered Pet Health Collar

Low-power collar with IMU and PPG-derived heart rate, on-device behaviour classification.

Always-on wearable with a six-axis IMU, an optical heart-rate sensor, and a low-power MCU running a behaviour-classification model that distinguishes resting, walking, scratching, and abnormal gait. Two-week battery life target on a 250mAh cell with BLE for sync.

HOLON role: MCU and sensor co-selection, antenna and enclosure DFM, certification path scoping (FCC ID and SRRC), and PCBA quote validation against three Shenzhen partners. Now in DVT.

Egocentric Data Capture Glasses for Robot Training

High-throughput capture rig recording RGB, depth, and IMU at scale for imitation learning.

Lightweight head-worn capture rig producing synchronised RGB (4K 60FPS), depth (ToF), and nine-axis IMU streams written to onboard storage for downstream robot policy training. Designed for multi-hour operator sessions.

HOLON role: image sensor and ToF module sourcing, write-throughput validation against UFS and SD options, mechanical balance and comfort iteration, and a customised firmware partner. Used today by an early robotics customer for kitchen-task data collection.

Edge AI Perception via Spiking Neural Networks

Always-on perception stack on neuromorphic silicon under a one-milliwatt power budget.

Reference perception pipeline running on a commercially available neuromorphic SoC, executing event-based vision and audio wake-up under a one-milliwatt sustained power budget. Targeted at always-on sensing in battery-constrained form factors.

HOLON role: silicon evaluation across two neuromorphic vendors, event-camera sourcing, model porting partner identification, and integration with a conventional SoC for downstream tasks. Currently in architecture-lock phase.

Anonymous Customer Recognition for Retail

On-device demographic and dwell-time analytics, no identifying data leaves the camera.

Edge camera unit running on-device pose, demographic, and dwell-time estimation. No images and no biometric templates leave the device — only aggregated counts and time-bucketed metrics are transmitted upstream. Designed for retail and public-space deployments under GDPR and PIPL constraints.

HOLON role: SoC selection (a Hisilicon Hi3559-class device with an Ambarella alternative), camera and lens stack, enclosure tooling, certification path, and PCBA partner. In mass production at a Shenzhen partner factory at low five-figure quarterly volumes.
